# Tokenomics

$Meme will be launched on Base chain, 100B tokens - all added to the LP for the fair launch. No tokens kept for the team

Every buy/sell of $Meme incurs a 5% tax broken up as:

* 2% - used to buy memecoins (initially all $wewe then expanded to other bluechip memcoins) and drop to wallets hodling $Meme
* 2% - Fees to Liquidity Providers to the $Meme pool
* 1% - Team treasury to enable the next steps of the road map. Team is open to reducing or modifying this in the future, and the team plans to use all these funds to progress the project

$Meme’s initial use case will be as a Memecoing Index - hodl $Meme to earn Memecoins (planned to be crosschain in future versions)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://usdmeme.gitbook.io/usdmeme-docs/usdmeme-basics/openapi.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
